Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has hinted that the state could have Opposition coalition NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga arrested after the October 26 presidential elections.
Speaking in Maralal over the weekend, the powerful Cabinet Secretary asserted that the Opposition chief was planning to cause chaos ahead of the repeat polls.
He further revealed that the government was working closely with International Criminal Court (ICC) investigators to have the former premier implicated in a criminal case.
"If there is bloodshed in this county after October 26, we shall not hesitate to take Raila to the ICC to answer for it ," a charged Kiunjuri cautioned.
He also noted that the Opposition's plot to boycott the elections would play to the advantage of President Uhuru Kenyatta, who he said could continue serving as Head of State if elections are not held within 60 days.
