Residents of Nyamira County have been advised to make use of the Huduma Centre in the region and decongest government offices.
Huduma Centre manager Florence Ndungu said most residents don’t know the services offered at the facility hence visit other public offices a move she noted is time-consuming.
“The Huduma Centre has been well received by the few who understand the services it offers. It would be good if all residents embraced it,” she said.
Ndungu said the centre has improved service delivery.
“The intention of the centre is to speed up service delivery to the public and they should understand that our staff are well trained. They should seek key services from the centre,” she added.
She further urged residents to go for services at the center which are essential such as birth certificates, checking of blood pressure and also diabetes.
She spoke Monday when her team visited sick children at Nyamira Hospital.
