Kenya's reigning orator has been silent for long since he represented the IEBC in the presidential petition that led to the annulment of the August 8 presidential election.
Appearing on JKL Wednesday night, PLO Lumumba broke his silence and made his intervention.
The renowned lawyer said that Odinga's planned swearing-in would offend the law and illegal.
''I am a legal puritan. And from a legal puritan's standpoint, there was an inauguration conducted in accordance with the constitution, in accordance with the law. That is the only inauguration known to law and any other inauguration would offend the law.'' PLO Lumumba said with his trademark eloquence.
Lumumba's remark is the latest high-profile remark on the legality of Odinga's parallel swearing-in ceremony.
His intervention is likely to ruffle the feathers of NASA's supporters who maintain that Odinga won the August 8 election.
Lumumba defended the IEBC, a fact that earned him many enemies who see him as a sell-out.
