Kisii county president of Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWD) Kennedy Mouko has said all persons with disabilities in the county will get their personal identification cards that identify them in the county.

According to Mouko, the cards will help them in identification in employment, tax exemption if they are conducting business discrimination among others issues.

Addressing the press in Kisii town Mouko said the machines that will be used to process those cards have arrived in the from German and soon all people living with disability will be given their cards,

“I have been struggling for this people but I want to assure them soon they will get their personal identification cards to help them be identified in the county,” said Mouko.

He promised to continue fighting for PLWD's rights to be seen as complete persons in the county.

Mouko said Kisii county government is the first country to have such machines that processes the cards
