French midfielder Paul Pogba flew his personal barber over 2414 kilometer from London to Moscow, just to get his hair cut done three days before the World Cup match against Peru which they won 1-0.
Pogba, who is famous for his stylish and colorful haircuts, is reported to have paid the return ticket for his barber, Ahmed Alsanawi, just to get that timely shave. Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti having his haircut from Ahmed Alsanawi.
Courtesy of Pogba’s gesture, 12 other French squad members got their haircuts from the 26-year-old Alsanawi.
Those who got their haircut included Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy, Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti, striker Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea midfielder N’golo Kante and PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.
According to Alsanawi, he traveled back to London after immediately completing his assignment in Moscow to tend to his barbershop.
However, Alnaswi said he expects Pogba to fly him back for another haircut if they qualify for the latter stages of the tournament.
