[Photo/PPB]The Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) has partnered with the National Nurses Association of Kenya (NNAK).The partnership was agreed during the 59th Annual Nurses Scientific Conference and exhibition at Sai Rock Hotel Mombasa on 6-8th December 2017. During the conference, PPB Regulatory Officer Mary Njeri highlighted the role nurses play in transforming care through Pharmacovigilance.“Nurses are one of our key reporters of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) accounting to about 60-70 per cent of the total reports. We highly commend the nursing fraternity support in reporting and involvement in improving patient's safety and encourage them to continue reporting,” she said.
