The family of Amina Ali, a Garissa accident victim of a speeding police car is seeking justice.

The family said they are yet to receive the necessary support from the police following the Tuesday morning accident along the Garissa Highway.

According to Yussuf Ali, Amina’s brother, his sister sustained very serious injuries and needed an urgent and specialised medical care.

However, Ijara OCPD, Christopher Rotich confirmed the accident saying they have since offered necessary support, contrary to the claims by the family that Amina was abandoned.

The Tuesday morning accident along the Mwingi-Garissa highway involved a police vehicle and a bodaboda rider.

One cop died on the spot while two others sustained major injuries.
