North Mugirango Mp Charles Geni has raised concern over the increasing wave of insecurity in his constituency.

Yesterday, the Mp petitioned the government to urgently curb the attacks that have led to several deaths.

Geni blamed the police for laxity in combating crime saying that members of the 12 man gang terrorising residents were well known to them. 

On Friday last week, a couple was killed when gunmen raided their home. 

The Mp called for investigations to be carried out before the burial.

Geni said that he would be forced to lead protests against the police if they failed to tackle crime in the region as residents are suffering more.
