A suspect believed to be a mastermind in Muhoroni killings on Tuesday night attack has been arrested by police officers in Kericho County.
Rustlers raided Koru area in Muhoroni constituency in Kisumu County and killed two people.
Kericho East OCPD Justus Kitetu said David Tergech aged 42 was arrested at Pechulelach area in Poywek sub-location, Ainamoi constituency on Wednesday.
He said the suspect with others may be hiding in Kabarus in Ainamoi constituency after they committed the crime in Koru.
The suspects stole 13 goats during the Tuesday 1 am attack.
“4 goats have been recovered and the suspect is in custody to help police arrest his accomplices before they will be arraigned in court", said Kitetu.
The raiders killed two people using arrows believed to be from the neighbouring Kabarus village.
The deceased were trying to follow the thieves when they were attacked.
Residents have been called on to maintain peace as police assured intensified security patrols along the border of Ainamoi and Muhoroni constituencies.
