An unidentified man was on Wednesday arrested after he attacked Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
The man approached the aspirant in a gesture to greet him but ended up launching the attack.
Sonko's security personnel moved in swiftly and whisked the man off the senator before police took over by arresting him.
This happened at Bidii Primary school where Sonko had gone to cast his vote in the Jubilee primaries where he is contesting to win the Nairobi gubernatorial ticket for Nairobi.
