Over twenty youths were arrested in Tala town in Matungulu sub-county on June 21 during police patrol.
The arrested have been idling in the town claiming to be employees of matatu saccos in the town.
They have been terrorising residents boarding and alighting from vehicles to the extent of uttering strange and evil words on them.
According to Matungulu police boss Joseph Chesire, residents have been decrying for the idlers to be arrested for the last month before police took action and arrested them.
"I have been receiving complaints from residents about idlers who steal from them but I had to carry out tight investigations before arresting them," said Chesire.
He urged residents to remain calm and to feel free when carrying out their daily activities as the town is back in order.
He also said that some of the arrested were found with rolls of bhang.
They will all be arraigned in Kangundo law courts on June 23.
