The High Court has barred police from arresting three NTV journalists for covering Opposition Leader Raila Odinga's inauguration on Tuesday.
Justice Luka Kimaru granted Linus Kaikai, Larry Madowo, and Ken Mijungu anticipatory bail of Sh100, 000 each.
He ordered the 3 to appear before the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Monday to assist with the investigations.
The three have been reportedly sleeping at the Nation Center to avoid being arrested.
On Wednesday, there were claims that plain-clothed police officers had surrounded the area waiting for the three.
The development comes in the context of a relentless crackdown on individuals believed to be behind the swearing-in of Raila Odinga.
