Security measures have been put in place to ensure safety of Mwala sub county residents, police boss Joseph Mugo has said.
Speaking at Mwala town on Tuesday, Mugo asked residents to continue with their activities uninterrupted saying that security officers are on alert.
He said that the sub county security administration is working closely with the county and the national government to boost security.
“There is no need for residents to fear, we have in place measures to ensure peace across the sub county,” he said.
Mugo added that more security officers will be deployed in various stations to intensify patrols in search of criminals.
The police boss warned criminals saying that their days are numbered and would soon be arrested and prosecuted.
Mugo urged the public to help the police as they strive to boost security across the sub county. He added that the public has the responsibility and the duty to report law breakers.
The sub county police boss assured that no one will be intimidated for reporting criminals or wrong doers.
