A scuffle broke out at Moi Girls School in Nairobi when a mother opted to take out her anger on Nairobi Police Commander Japheth Koome.

According to reports, the officer had come to the school to assist with the ongoing investigations of the fire the killed 10 girls.

In the photo the police boss could be seen trying to protect himself after the mother attempted to strike him with her bag.

Fellow police officers were forced to step in and protect their boss from the woman who was led away shortly after.

The scuffle caused the commander to drop his phone and the cause of the incident is still unknown.

Education CS Fred Matiang’i refuted claims that the fire was accidental.

Police have detained four girls suspected to have been a part of the arson attack. The will be brought to court later this week.
