Speaking to Hivisasa on Friday, he said that ever since he was deployed to serve in the region he has never heard of any police officer taking bribes.

"My office is open to anyone who has any complains against the police and chiefs," he said.

According to him, no police officer has ever been reported in his office for corruption.

Mr Mburukwe also said that early pregnancies was to be blamed on lack of enough education.

He warned locals against spreading propaganda and hatred  about security officers and local chiefs.

"Anyone who will be found spreading malicious information meant to taint the name of the police officers will not be spared," he said.
