Over 40 litres of Chang'aa illicit brew were burned by police in Kakuyuni village of Matungulu West constituency.
This is following a raid by area local chief in collaboration with Police in an effort that was geared to curbing the running of illegal businesses within the region.
The markers of the illicit brew were nowhere to be found the moment police raided the area and are been hunted to answer to charges of making illicit brew.
Kakuyuni village has been on the headlines of late bearing in mind that some youths were arrested last week after been found in possession of bhang.
Police have however challenged the area local chief to be vigilant and ensure that such illegal businesses do not run within the region.
Consumers of Chang'aa within the area have also been warned to shun visiting the place where the brew was made with police vowing to arrest any person who will be found consuming the illicit brew.
