Over 2,000 litres of illicit brew were destroyed while 124 sachets of cocaine and 400 more rolls of bhang confiscated in Nakuru by police.
According to Nakuru town divisional police commander Joshua Omukata, the operation carried out in Kivumbini Estate was successful although no arrests were made.
"We decided to conduct a swoop as this is one of the estates we have been concentrating on in the fight against illicit brew and many other crimes," he said.
Mr Omukata said that the area has been receiving increased numbers of criminal activities due to the wanton drug dealing around.
The brew was found stored in jerry cans that were buried in the ground.
He asked the locals to report any cases of suspected drug dealing among residents.
"Our offices are very open and we are very free to receive any sort of information. It is therefore prudent that residents of this estate report any criminals to the police," he said.
