Police in Maai-Mahiu are investigating an incident where the body of a middle-aged man was discovered dumped in a thicket at Suswa estate.
The body was discovered on Sunday by herdsmen who alerted the police.
Confirming the incident, Naivasha deputy police boss Agnes Amojong said investigations have been launched into the incident. She said the body had no injuries and that the deceased might have been killed elsewhere and the body dumped in the estate.
“We have launched a probe into the killing. We hope to get the perpetrators soon since the police have clues that will unravel the killing,” she said.
She said security has been intensified in Naivasha and its environs, urging residents to work with law enforcers to boost security.
Residents have complained that crime cases have escalated in the area and demanded more security patrols.
The latest incident brought to three cases where bodies have been found dumped in various parts of Naivasha.
