Motorists are advised to avoid Kenyatta Avenue (from Uhuru highway to Integrity Centre) as police have clashed with opposition supporters at the PCIO area.

Police were forced to lob teargas to NASA MPs and their supporters who had camped at the area demanding the release of MP TJ Kajwang.

Sources said police were forced to use teargas after it emerged the situation was likely to get out of hand.

TJ Kajwang was arrested a day after swearing in Raila Odinga as the people's president.
