Police in Nairobi have gunned down seven suspects along the Nyeri-Nairobi highway.

The suspects are said to be those that killed two police officers in Kibichoi, Kiambu, in August.

Officers reported to have shot dead George Mwaniki aka Mwanii together with another suspect who was identified as Willy.

Two homemade guns, a pistol, 11 bullets and rolls of bhang were recovered from the suspects.
