Police officers in Borabu constituency have launched a manhunt to arrest livestock thieves along Sotik-Borabu border.

Borabu OCPD Timothy Mwanzia said police are searching the criminals who on Wednesday night raided one home in the area and tried to steal cattle but in vain.

“Criminals will not be left to walk free. Thieves who raided and injured people in one homestead on a mission to steal livestock on Wednesday night are being pursued by police,” he said

Mwanzia advised the criminals to surrender to police before the law catches up with them.

“Police will not rest until criminals are flushed out from the area. More officers will be deployed along the Nyamira –Bomet border to prevent any cattle rustling,” he added.
