Police in Bahati are looking for a man linked to the killing of a 53-year-old widow in a land dispute.
Bahati North police boss Edward Wafula Masibo said the man fled after killing Rachael Wanjiru Mwangi in Engashura.
The police boss said that the man who claimed ownership of the one acre piece of land where the widow's house stood committed the offence on Friday evening.
"We suspect he has gone into hiding after killing the woman. We are looking for him to be charged over murder in court," he said.
He appealed to members of the public to inform the police on the whereabouts of the suspect.
"The public should volunteer information to security officers so that the suspect faces the full force of the law," Wafula said.
He urged residents to seek legal solutions in case of disagreements in society instead of taking the law into their hands.
