The two allegedly are part of an armed gang robbing tourists at gun point.

Nakuru police boss Bernard Kioko told journalists that the search for the two has been intensified.

He said the gunmen attacked the tourist at a pub around Lake Nakuru National Park on Saturday. The police boss indicated that Keith Ranger was attacked and robbed by a gang of five armed men.

The tourist allegedly lost cash in American dollars, a mobile phone and other valuables.

However, police pursued the gunmen and arrested three while the two escaped.

Kioko added that they recovered USD 225, adding that they have leads that will aid in the arrest of the accomplices who escaped.

The police boss urged residents to provide information that will lead to arrest of the suspects, adding that security will be intensified as tourists continue to stream the area this season.

He said they will not relent until all criminal elements are wiped out.
