The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) says it is already investigating an incident in which supporters of Uasin Gishu gubernatorial candidates Jackson Mandago and Zedekiah Bundotich Buzeki clashed in Eldoret town, Friday.
IEBC county returning officer Jackton Nyonje said once investigatons are concluded, appropriate actions will be taken.
"We will consider stopping all campaigns for the two in Eldoret town," said Nyonje in Eldoret, Saturday.
The County Commissioner Abdi Hassan also said they were investigating the incident and warned that stern actions will be taken against perpetrators."The incident will be investigated and those involved taken to court," Hassan affirmed.
The Friday evening clash at Silverline hotel left several people injured after Mandago and Buzeki supporters pelted stones at each other.
