Detectives have impounded cocaine worth over Sh360 million at the port of Mombasa.
A source told nation.co.ke Friday that the drugs had been hidden in sugar containers.
"There are four containers which have been seized. One of them has been confirmed to contain cocaine. The operation is still on to verify the other containers," the source told the Nation.
The containers have been detained at a police station at the port.
Head of anti-narcotics, Hamisi Massa, said they are still verifying the contents of the containers and will brief journalists as details emerge.
