Police officers in Kisii are looking for two male teachers who were found defiling two primary school girls in a lodging.
This happened on Thursday in Kisii town.
It is said that the teachers who have currently gone into hiding were found with the minors in lodging after they returned from a sport event.
“I saw the teachers and the girls in uniform entering the lodging. I immediately mobilized members of the public and we rushed to there only to find the teachers with the minors inside two different rooms," said Evans Magero, a shopkeeper.
Magero said that it took police officers long to arrive at the crime scene which resulted to the disappearance of the teachers.
Kisii central police boss Francis Nguli said that the male teachers are being trailed.
“Our officer didn’t manage to arrest the suspects because they escaped before security officers could arrive but we are trailing them," he said.
Nguli warned teachers against engaging in illicit sex with minors saying the law will not spare them.
