Police officers have confirmed that they are still investigating unmarked ballot papers recovered outside an Embu tallying centre last week.

Eastern regional commissioner Wycliffe Ogallo has confirmed.

The unused and unsecured ballots were found abandoned on a chair outside the Manyatta constituency tallying centre located at Kangaru High School on August 9, a day after the general election.

The papers were for Kambo Market polling station. They included four governor ballots, three for presidential, three for woman representative, three for senator and three for MCA.
