[Photo: file]Police in Eldoret town are probing claims by Huruma Member of County Assembly (MCA) Peter Chomba that his life is in danger.Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Abdi Hassan said a team of investigators are already looking into the with a view of unearthing the truth behind the claims.Speaking to the press in Eldoret town, Sunday, Hassan noted that should there be evidence, appropriate actions will be taken."We've received reports that there's a politician in this county who says his life is in danger and investigation is ongoing and it will be early to me to say who is involved or not involved," Hassan said."As at now we should allow investigators to do their work and once they are done the public will know the outcome and if anyone will be implicated the law will take its course," he added.Last week, Chomba recorded a statement at the Central Police station in Eldoret town claiming unknown people have been trailing him.He claimed they are after his life for political reasons.
