Police in Nairobi gunned down a suspected armed robber in Pangani area in a botched robbery incident.

The suspect was in company of three others and were robbing motorists and pedestrians, Tuesday.

Patrol officers responded immediately by shooting the suspect as others escaped on foot. 

Police said they recovered a pistol loaded with two bullets. The body of the deceased was moved to City Mortuary.
