Residents have been advised to be vigilant and stop trusting strangers after the number of people who are escaping with children increased.
This comes after one family from Bogantang'anyi village Nyakoe location were left crying for help after a stranger took away their 3-month old child from Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital on Monday.
Narrating the story to the media Mama Caristah Kwamboka said that on Monday she took her child to KTRH hospital for medical attention where he met one lady who she gave the child when she went to out for a short call, unfortunately, the lady run away with the child.
"I felt shocked when I returned from the toilet, only to find the lady gone with my child, " Kwamboka said.
According to Charles Mwangi DCIO Kisii count, the police have launched investigation over the incident.
