Police have reportedly launched manhunt for self-declared people's president Raila Odinga, his daughter Winnie Odinga has confirmed.
Hours after a colorful ceremony, a defiant Raila dared the state to arrest him following detention of Rauraka MP TJ Kajwang'.
"They know my house, they know where to find me and I don't know why they are arresting innocent people," he told the press.
Earlier on Friday, Canadian based lawyer Miguna Miguna, who administered the controversial oath, was also arrested from his Runda home.
And in a short text on ODM Youth League WhatsApp group, Winnie said 'funny' plain-cloth officers were making patrols in their Karen home.
"Police are looking for my father. All our supporters be vigilant and be alert. Let's prepare ourselves for a busy day," she wrote.
Days to his inauguration, the state through Attorney General had warned of possible treason charges if he failed to drop his plans.
