Led by County Police Commander Hassan Barua, the security personnel have cautioned anybody or group of persons out to destabilise peace in Nakuru and its environs to stop before the long arm of the law finds them.

According to Barua, intelligence officers are already on the move to discover the source of the leaflets and bring them to book.

Barua has further urged anybody with any crucial leads to avail the information to the nearest police station.

"We are in possession of the said leaflets and can assure the general public that everything is under control. Don't panic because the issue is now under intelligence watch," he said.

The said leaflets were discovered yesterday Monday in Nakuru and were warning a particular community to vacate Nakuru, Naivasha and Kericho before 2017.

The hate has been viewed to result from demos and heated sentiments between Cord and Jubilee over the attempt to oust IEBC commissioners from office, with analysts cautioning that the trend was raising unnecessary political temperatures ahead of 2017.
