Police in Molo, Nakuru county are investigating an incident in which a 22-year-old man on Saturday committed suicide by jumping into a well.
Molo police boss Daniel Kamanza said investigationo are underway.
"Officers have launched probe to determine what could have led the man to take his own life. I urge locals to seek advise from church leaders instead of taking own lives in unclear circumstances," said the police boss.
Paul Njihia, a resident said the man hastily entered his compound and without hesitation, jumped into the well.
"I did not speak to him. He entered the compound and jumped into the well. No one knows why he decided to committ suicide," said Njihia
