Detectives in Dagorreti have launched an investigation to establish what led to the death of a middle-aged man in Uthiru.
The body of an unidentified man was found in a trench in Uthiru in a suspected murder and robbery incident.
The body was discovered by pedestrians on Wednesday who alerted the authorities.
The body was later moved to the mortuary where post mortem is expected to be conducted.
Dagoretti OCPD Rashid Mohamed said the man seemed to have been hit by a blunt objected before being strangled.
"We are searching for clues to establish the motive of the death. My officers are on the ground still investigating," Mohamed told The Standard on Friday.
