Police have arrested two suspects along the Nakuru- Londiani road with bhang estimated to be worth Sh4 million.

Area OCPD Joseph Odipo said police started trailing the vehicle after a tip-off from members of the public.

They managed to stop it near Londiani junction.

Mr. Odipo said the suspects were seized with the illegal plant weighing 1,300Kgs with estimated street value of Sh4 million.

"My officers ransacked the vehicle and found 19bags of the said drug.  We will intensify patrols along this route since such cases have been rampant," he said.

Odipo thanked members of the public for availing such information to police.

The suspects will be arraigned in court tomorrow.
