Three men suspected to behind the theft of livestock in Kawethei, in Kangundo sub-county were arrested on Friday.
The incident was confirmed by Kangundo police station OCS Morris Okul who noted the suspects had a car wingroad model.
Okul noted that in the car the police recovered a blood-stained bucket, five knives and a sack.
The men allegedly stole the three cows in Mukunike area on Thursday which were later found slaughtered in one bush in the area.
On that fateful day, the owner of the cows searched for them only to recover their skins and bones from a nearby bush.
The suspects are currently held at Kangundo police station as they await to appear in court.
