Police have arrested two Nigerian nationals with heroin worth Sh4.5 million.
The two were arrested by antinarcotic police officers on Friday morning in Nyali, Mombasa, with the drug packed in a 1.5kg bag.
The two, Chukwu James and Gageche Gold Patience, were arrested in a raid on their apartment in the posh estate.
According to the officers, who spoke to The Nation, the two were due to travel to Brussels, Belgium, and were caught packing in readiness for the trip.
The drugs were hidden in a suit case.
According to reports, the drugs had been sourced from Tanzania, with the police set to issue a formal statement later today.
