A police Administrator attached to Rakwaro police post in Rongo constituency died a mysterious death after claiming of stomach complication last night.
The officer whose name has been established as Mohamed Abdi passed on a few minutes after experiencing the complication at Rapcom hospital in Awendo.
According to our source, the police officer consumed seven bottles of Viceroy Alcohol in one of the pub in Rongo town at around midnight.
However, the Administrative police commander for Rongo subcounty Mr. David Ng’etich disputed the claim saying that the police officer just complained of stomach complication.
Ng’etich said that the police officer died a few minutes after he was rushed to the hospital. The body of the police officer has been taken to Rapcom mortuary waiting for postmortem.
