An administration officer attached to a senior official at the office of President Uhuru Kenyatta was on Monday morning shot and injured by gunmen in Ruai.

According to sources, the officer was on his way to pick his boss when the gunmen attacked him. 

Police have launched investigations to bring the culprits to book.
