A police officer will on Monday be charged with stealing a colleague's firearm
The officer, attached to presidential escort unit, was arrested after he stole a colleague’s pistol and tried to sell it at Sh100,000 in Nairobi.
According to the Sunday Standard the officer is based at Ruiru General Service Unit (GSU) camp and is said to have stolen the Jericho pistol with 15 bullets from their armoury.
He then sneaked it to a broker in Nairobi's Kawangware slum.

They manage to handcuff their colleague and trace the gun.
