Four police officers have been arrested after they were linked to a robbery of Sh2 million in Riroini area, Limuru.

They are alleged to have attacked and robbed a Chinese national, Wunei Dun of the money as he drove from Nairobi to Bomet.

The Chinese man runs a gambling business in Nairobi and Bomet.

His driver was also arrested after he was linked to the incident since he is alleged to have leaked the information to the attackers.

The Chinese national went to Limuru police station and reported he was driving towards Nakuru direction on Saturday when a gang of four waylaid him on the road and blocked his car. They then grabbed the money that was in the car and sped off.
