Police in Nairobi are investigation the death of a University of Nairobi student who died at their hostels.

The student is said to have falled from the third floor of the hostel to the ground and died on the spot.

The fourth year student, Ian Kibet Kimaiyo, is said to have been at Mamlaka A hostel when he fell acording to a guard who was around.

“Police visited the scene and could not immediately establish the circumstances behind the incident,” police said.

The body of the student was taken to the Chiromo mortuary awaiting post-mortem to be done.
