Police in Homa Bay county is hunting down the boda-boda riders who torched a passenger bus that was heading to Nairobi.

The bus had stopped at a petrol station in Homa Bay Town Sunday morning to drop a passenger before a boda-boda rider rammed into it from behind.

According to an eyewitness, the boda-boda rider was hurt after hitting the bus that was offloading passenger luggage, he then attacked the bus driver who fled before he(boda-boda rider) set the car ablaze.

Homa Bay OCPD Essau Ochorokodi confirmed the incident, saying that the rider and a passenger who was on the bus are currently recuperating at the Homa Bay County Teaching and Referral Hospital.
