This comes after Ismael Shosi, an al-Shabaab suspect said to be on the police 'most wanted' list, was on Tuesday shot dead at his rental house in Kisauni, Mombasa.

The house is said to belong to Masuo, who is alleged to have been hiding Shosi.

According to Citizen Digital, Shosi inherited Masuo following the death of her husband in 2013.

Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa said Shosi was the mastermind behind several terror attacks and radicalisation of youth in the region.
