Six suspects in the murder of Nakuru RFC player Mike Okombe at the weekend are behind bars.
The six presented themselves to the Nakuru criminal investigations regional commander in the company of their lawyer, Kamau Chomba.
They were handed over to the Rongai division for further probe.
Rongai OCPD Joseph Kioko said the suspects will be arraigned in court once police are through with investigations.
“We have six suspects in custody, including the lady and those who were partying with the deceased (Mike Okombe). They surrendered today (Monday)," he said.
Okombe died after allegedly being stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife.
