The National Police Service says it is ready for the August 8 general election.
According to kbctv.co.ke, Director of Criminal Investigations Ndegwa Muhoro said the service will ensure peace and tranquility prevails during the period.
Muhoro said the police will work with all stakeholders to ensure Kenyans vote without disruptions.
He made the remarks during the 2nd biennial Court users Committee conference, and He lauded the initiative saying it will help speed up the wheels of justice.
Chief Justice David Maraga who was present said the court users committees will help bring about a fast and fair administrative justice for all Kenyans.
He said each institution should take responsibility for its performance and shun the culture of buck-passing.
