Police have recovered a number of guns from businessman Jimi Wanjigi's home in Muthaiga, Nairobi.
According to the Star, six Glock Pistols and a shot gun were recovered following a raid.
The Muthaiga home was raided after another raid in Malindi where officers recovered a number of guns and bullets.
The guns were recovered in a house believed to be Wanjigi's.
On Tuesday afternoon, Wanjigi's wife moved to court where he received orders barring the state from arresting the businessman.
Government spokesperson Erick Kiraithe had earlier said that the raids were in the interest of national security.
