Some of the tools that were used by thugs to dig an underground tunnel and steal fifty million at KCB Thika have been found.
The tools which include gas cylinder, masks and metals were found on Tuesday inside the tunnel by investigators working on the case.
These tools have been found only one day after two men and one woman made their way into KCB Thika branch whopping away with Sh50 million.
The robbers dug a hole through a nearby building and were able to access the strong room where they took the money from.
Kiambu County Commandant, Adiel Nyange, confirmed the incident saying "suspects owned an exhibition stall from where the tunnel originated."
The police say that the criminals dug the tunnel for almost six months and had hired a building next to the bank where they have been stocking soil from the tunnel and covering it with a carton of books.
Investigations are still underway to have the suspects arrested.
