Police in Teachers Estate have recovered goods worth Sh 200,000 after raiding a residential house in the estate.
The items are suspected to have been stolen from break-ins into houses and business premises by suspected robbers, three of whom were arrested on Thursday during the raid.
The suspects included a woman.
Officer in charge of Teachers police post Mercy Musyoka said police acting on a tip off from members of the public raided the three-bed-room bungalow and arrested two men and the woman.
She said the goods that ranged from electronics included mobile phones, television sets, video machines, grocery shop items, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, clothes and shoes among others.
Musyoka said that the three identified as Jane Muthoni, Kennedy Omondi and Tom Kariuki are suspected to be among a gang of robbers who have been staging armed robberies at night in the area targeting business operators and households.
