Police in Mbiuni, Mwala sub-county Monday rescued a boda boda suspect from an angry mob that was baying for his blood.

According to the police, the thief has been on their radar. The boda boda is alleged to have been stolen from Kithimani.

The suspect has since been detained at Masii police station awaiting to be arraigned in court.

Of late, there has been increased theft cases of boda bodas across the country due to the ready market for second hand motorcycles.
